Ice bucket challenge!

If you're not on Facebook then you might not have seen our ice bucket challenge...here it is followed by how we started our first video which I had to stop and re-record, you'll see why...

and then there's Zach. ohhhhh boy.

 

Zach's 6th Birthday!!!!!!

6 years ago today our sweet little man, Zach, was born. 

He has definitely challenged my patience at times but he is the sweetest little big boy ever. :) 

He wanted to eat pizza for dinner in the back of the truck.... so we did. Then he requested to open his presents...in the back of the truck....so we did. And then came inside for cake and ice cream!

 He got mail from DeeDaw today.

 and I made him read all of his cards. every single one. He grumbled.

 stickers. DeeDaw knows how much I absolutely love stickers after he sent some to Emily for her birthday...and I had to scrape them up off of my floor.

 he loved his $2 bill.

 and before he could open the present from Jake, he had to read the card. yep.

 He was quite excited to get a speedorz. Now his and Jacob's can battle (I guess!).

 "Mommy, take picture of Emmy hand."

 he was actually quite excited to get a toothbrush. He's been asking for a spinny toothbrush and I keep telling him to spend his own money on one. What better birthday gift than a new toothbrush?!?!

 Emily thought he needed a yo-yo.

 and then came the present Daniel suggested...and Zach was quite excited about it..

 binoculars! He plans on taking them to football games.

 and now he has a new nerf thingamahoo! I think it's a cross-strike nerf gun. Think crossbow but with a gun type trigger thing.

 and a nerf gun. Look out Jacob!

 Auntie Bernadette and Uncle Brandon's present was waiting for him too!

 He was very excited for the transformer!!

 and Emily was very excited to help him carry everything inside!

 Birthday cake time!

 He requested to put the candles on himself. It's a smiley face.

 I'm pretty sure there's a picture of Daniel like this somewhere. And if there's not, there should be.

 YUM! Well, sort of yum. New recipe and it was only so so.

Happy 6th Birthday, Zach (Tater Tot!)! We love you!!

The start of a new school year!

I meant to have this up yesterday but ended up with poison ivy appearing on my eyelid (yeah, it sucks. Looks like I lost a fight it's so swollen!) so after taking benadryl, I was zonked out on the couch!

Anyways, the boys are on their 2nd day of a new school year and so far are loving it! Jacob is in 2nd grade and Zach is in 1st. Here are our pictures from the first day of school (yesterday!)!

Let the school year begin! How is it possible that they're in 1st and 2nd grade??? Time sure does fly.

Quick Update!

We've been crazy busy this summer so far! I need to find more time to go through pictures and update but just haven't been able to! So, for now, here's a few pictures from yesterday and today!
