I took this picture of Copper a few nights ago after we had dinner outside. You can see that his right eye is larger than his left--thats thanks to the tumor that took over his eye.
And my poor kiddos had quite the time saying goodbye to their pup. As soon as Daniel pulled out of the driveway with Copper both boys got so upset and told me they wished Copper didn't have a tumor in his eye so he could keep his eye. Jacob went up to his room and didn't want to come back downstairs. Once I finally got him to come back downstairs he told me he was worried Copper wouldn't make it. I gave him a big hug and told him not to worry and that daddy would be brining him back home on Tuesday!
They said his surgery went well today and we're all excited to see him tomorrow sometime! I'm sure he'll be quite excited to see Daniel tomorrow morning. :-)
Lucky us, a friend asked if the kids and I wanted to go over to her house Sunday evening for dinner since Daniel was gone and of course I said yes!! The boys had such a good time and it got them smiling after their tearful afternoon!
We ran into friends at Rita's one evening last week!
Zach and his kitty.
Emily has mastered what we call the "Abby crawl." :-)
She crawls the exact same way our neighbor's little girl, Abby, crawled.
silly silly girl.
We had a picnic for lunch today!
And then came this afternoon............
We were getting ready to walk out the door to take Jacob to karate and guess who said he wanted to do karate?????
yep, Zachy boy.
That's Zach with the instructor, Mr. Hayhurst. He's absolutely amazing with the kids.
Practing a block with one of the helper instructors.
The boys did a kid power seminar on Saturday and I guess thats what made Zach want to do karate class with Jake! I took pictures and a video from that but they're still on the camera. I've been super lazy about getting pictures off my camera lately. Baby on the go means nonstop stuff to do!!
