We started out with a Christmas movie and then built things out of marshmallows and toothpicks...
even Emily had a good time!
See my tinsel trees in the background? Aren't they fantastic??? And yes, that would be an unfinished wall next to the green one. That wall will disappear once the world's ugliest kitchen gets renovated (hopefully soon...well, after we finish installing a master bathroom!).
Zach said he needed glasses. I should've gotten some skewers out so he could've balanced them over his ears.
Emily just wanted her picture taken as she destroyed her brothers' creations.
Jake wants to show this one to his religious ed teacher, Sister Jeanne. He built a church and then pretended to pray (who knows, he could actually be saying a VERY quick prayer).
some of Zach's awesomeness.
We had homemade personal pizzas for lunch. Emily's was the first one in the oven... and she's LICKING the oven door while watching it bake.
She's trouble.
After the boys finished constructing things out of marshmallows & toothpicks we moved on to unwrapping rolos (yes, I made them wash their hands!) for these tasty treats!
Then Emily took what I could probably say was the shortest nap she's ever taken..and the boys built a snowman on the deck.
pretzel eyes, pepperoni mouth, carrot nose, and oreo buttons. :)
Ringo decided the snowman seemed more intriguing than going back into the house.
Jacob giving our old pup some love.
And Ringo decided he should just start eating!
Jacob's favorite expression today!
Again!
Zach being a little sweetheart (temporarily).
my poor, sad, lonely pup. He sure misses his buddy.
Emily woke up from her nap, had a little snack then brought me her hat, mittens, shoes, and coat (in that order). Think she was hinting at something?
The kids and I went out and all had a great time!
PLEASE PLEASE let there be school tomorrow!!! :)
