Still here!!

We're all still here :-) The boys school year wrapped up last week, we've been busy with karate and tee ball, and oh yeah, I haven't gotten much sleep since Emily's teething. So, that explains the blog hiatus. I've periodically uploaded pictures onto Picasa but thats as far as I've gotten!!

Here we go!

Jacob's class went to the zoo on the second to last day of school...Zach was super bummed but I told him we'd do something fun.. but first, we had to swing.

And now onto the fun thing I told him about... the pool! Megan and I gathered up our gaggle of kids not in school (Zach, Abby, Emma, Mallory, and Emily) and headed for some splashing.

It was a bit chilly out for swimming but they had a good time.

And then it was the last day of school...

we brought popsicles :-)

The plan was to play outside and eat popsicles but it was pouring rain all day long.

This one is out of order too! Zach got the "Most Helpful Award" from his teacher.

I made a cake too...

Jacob's buddy, Michael, had a birthday this past weekend and wanted a star wars cake. The blue lightsaber cake was a hit!

 

We ate watermelon in the front yard with our neighbor, Emma, on Sunday!

 

 

 

I decided I wanted to make some new diapers for Emily too...

I bought specific fabric for them but decided I needed to use other fabric I had to test out the patterns (one is sized and the other is adjustable) and make sure I knew what I was doing! I'd say I'm ready to use the good fabric!! We'll see which fits her best in the morning! I know the white one fits her but I finished the other after she was asleep tonight (and I know it'll fit her, just have to see which is best!).

 

We've played tee ball too. Actually, yesterday was our last game of the season. I took pictures but still need to sort through them. Maybe tomorrow.... (yeah, right). Maybe Emily's teeth will cut through tomorrow and she'll be back to being our happy little princess!!
