Emily's big girl bed!

Wish us luck! The boys convinced Emily today that we should make her crib into her toddler bed so we did! Let's see how tonight goes....

our last snow day off (for now!)

The boys got to spend another snow day with Emily and I. We monkeyed around the house for a little bit this morning and then I decided we really needed to get out. Daniel suggested a museum in Pulaski-go figure they were closed on Mondays. We ended up going bowling and having a great time!

the scoreboard from our first game. Emily beat the pants off of all of us.
(Jacob, Mom, Emily, Zach in case you couldn't figure it out)

and our second game.

before we left I made some delicious bread! YUM!

and then this car was in front of me at a stoplight. I had to laugh that they have the wrong version of "you're" on it. Even funnier (to me) was that the boys caught me taking the picture (we were stopped though so it was ok!) and wanted to know what I took the picture of. I told them I saw something funny on the car but didn't go any further explaining it... so of course they started reading everything on the car. And then lucky me, I got to remind them that we don't repeat bad words again--ever!

Jacob built a snowman!

Religious Ed was cancelled this morning for the boys because of icy roads so what better to do than go back out and play in the snow? It was actually really good sledding today because of the slight crunch the snow had on top now. And, it was a little wetter from some of it melting so there were snowmen to be built. (I took 336 pictures today, here's 60 of my favorites.)

the boys wanted to slide like penguins. they were extremely successful. and hilarious.
and a little while later Emily insisted on doing it too.

We decided Ringo needed to go sledding too. It's got to be on every dog's bucket list, right?

He looks like he was eager to get back on the sled.

not so much!

And guess what?!?! We got the dreaded email, no school again tomorrow.
