We had a tiny bit of snow fall yesterday that the kids enjoyed playing in before the big storm hit today (which the boys had even more fun playing in). It doesn't take much for them to have a good time.....especially since our entire yard is a sledding hill.
the next series of pictures show Daniel falling while trying to sled with Zach.
You can pretty clearly see his pain. :)
He had his wallet in his pocket and he's claiming that this particular fall broke his wallet. It had a huge hole in it that he discovered when he came in to dry off. (And then we went wallet shopping.)
Today they couldn't wait to get out and play in the snow.. while it was still falling.
(Emily was napping so she didn't get to join in on the fun. Luckily, Daniel got home early and could enjoy the snow with the boys.)
Daniel wanted to use the sled as a snowboard.
Ringo wanted nothing to do with being in the snow.
Thanks to the snow and ice in Daniel's goatee, I think I have a pretty good idea of what he'll look like when he's old.
The boys wanted to race Daniel. I tried to give them pointers but they were just focused on getting on the sled however they wanted and trying to take off before their daddy.
and when Jacob realized that Daniel was winning, he figured he'd jump off the sled and try to beat him by running. no luck.
I love this one of Zach.
