Anyways, Saturday was lots and lots of fun! Have a look for yourself!
Sammy's birthday cake. She wanted a Mickey Mouse Clubhouse cake so thats what I made for her!
Brandon was still at work when we got there so Daniel and the boys played pool.
Zach enjoyed hitting the balls his way better than Daniels...but the picture looks good!
She had just woken up from her nap and saw her new table! It has a dry erase top on it which I thought was fantastic!
She spotted her cake. Too cute!
She's just precious. (and wasn't happy when her mommy took the balloons from her!)
Sammy's Ama made edible playdough from cake mix for the kids. It was a HUGE hit!
What a great smile!!
Jake with a party blower thing-a-ma-hoo!
YUM!!
Presents!! She got some fun looking stuff!
Me with my tator tot.
Uncle Brandon playing with the new toys with the kids.
Passing out goody bags. They are 2 of my favorite people!
getting ready to leave...it was bedtime ... and we still had 2.5 hours in the car.
This was actually Friday afternoon. I had finished the cake but hadn't started cleaning up the kitchen yet. Zach found extra pieces of fondant and then Jacob helped him make a face out of it.
Jacob and I got up early this morning and headed to the early Mass at our church. He was so well behaved so we picked up donuts for breakfast. Daniel got to stay home with Zach (both were still snoozing when Jake and I left) and then got to deal with him pouting about wanting mommy when he woke up. He shed a few more tears once Jacob and I got home while telling me how much he missed me. We went out shopping for a new laptop this afternoon to four different stores...and ultimately ended up at the very first store to buy one (which also happened to be the closest to our house!). Hopefully we'll have better luck with this one than we've had with our last 2!
We also bought MarioKart for the Wii while we were out today. I should probably blame us getting it on Brandon and Bernadette. Daniel and the boys discovered it while we were at their house and all really loved playing it. The boys had a good time playing it for a little bit this afternoon while we made salsa.
We went to our neighbor's house for a little superbowl party tonight. We had lots of yummy food and for the most part happy children! (and I did take a few pictures but I'm feeling too lazy right now to get up and get my camera to plug it in!) We left to walk back across the street at halftime to get the kids to bed (more than an hour after I said I planned to leave!). Daniel's watching the end of the game now while I figure out my new computer. Hopefully this will be a great week!
