Our front porch looking in...: Soccer, Fishing, and a 2 week old!

I'm definitely not blogging as much as I'd really like to lately.. hopefully that'll get better! Emily is really a good baby; she's a good sleeper, just likes to be held. I generally go to bed when I put her down for the evening (by 8 or 9pm) since I know I'll be up to feed her a few times. I haven't been very tired during the day either! (And I'm still going tonight and it's 10:30...but thats because I felt bad that I hadn't updated this blog.) Somehow I managed to get the boys to Safetyville today, get Emily to the doctor for her 2 week checkup, come home and plop chicken in the crock pot so that I could easily make chicken tacos tonight, cleaned up the house a bit, vacumned, did laundry, fed little Miss Emily around every 2 hours, picked the boys up from Safetyville, fed them lunch, changed poopy diapers, finished fixing a decent dinner (I might be most proud of that one!), watched the boys at their 2nd soccer practice, and helped get the boys to bed..........................all without a nap!!! (not that I'm tooting my own horn or anything!) I even managed to take a walk today! The boys enjoyed riding their bikes while Emily rode in our super wonderful stroller (thanks, mom!). It felt great to get some fresh air and good exercise (even if Zach managed to get a few owies while we were out!).

Emily is exactly 2 weeks old today! I know it's only been 2 weeks but I can't believe it's been 2 weeks!! She's 8 lbs 8 oz and 20 inches long. She's gained 12 oz in the last 8 days and an inch since birth! My little sweetheart.

earlier today... after our walk. She was clearly exhausted from riding in the stroller because she napped for almost 3 hours! record breaking!!

Soccer tonight. I have more pictures of Zach from Monday night's practice. Daniel was in charge of the camera tonight because I was doing what I do best....feeding the baby!

Yesterday we had ice cream sundaes for lunch. Why not?!?!

but big brother Zach got on her playmat with her and spent some quality time with her!

Last night we went fishing again (Emily's 3rd fishing trip!). We picked up a pizza and took it with us to have a little pizza picnic before fishing.

Monday. Jake's cat, Toonces, was talking to Emily.

Sunday was a fun family day! We all went to church and then got donuts then Daniel suggested we go fishing. He was determined to catch that catfish! (This would be Emily's 2nd fishing trip!)
