Bubbles & Splashes !

The boys and I decided we should start a blog to stay connected with people and let you know how we're doing and what we're up to! Hopefully it'll be somewhat entertaining!

Daniel was out of town today so I was flying solo with the kids. What better way to pass the time before bed than to take a REALLY long bath.....

I was thankful that Jacob agreed to the bath since lately he's been wanting to take showers. I think it's great that he wants to take showers but he wants to take them with either Daniel or myself and that is the one time of day that I don't want a kid right next to me (ok, there's many more times that I don't want a kid right next to me but thats the one time I win the battle). I'm pretty sure their bath included 5 cars, 1 dinosaur, 3 cups, and lots and LOTS of bubbles.

and splashing! In our house splashing is the most important part of bathtime.

We had a great day including a gourmet dinner of hot dogs and mac and cheese..followed by ice cream with friends (and yes, I'm pretty sure more ice cream ended up dripping on our clothes and the parking lot than we actually ate).
