Yee-haw!

What a day we had! A friend of ours invited us to go to the county fair with her and her 2 kids today for children's day. She made sure to tell me the weather was supposed to be cooler than it had been the past week! We loaded up with our bottles of water in my backpack (and camera, of course!) and headed to the local fairgrounds. I knew there would be some complaining when we got there and the boys saw that the rides were closed (we got there at 10:30am...rides don't open til 5pm. Careful planning on our parts!) and there was but they quickly got over it when I said "We'll get daddy to bring us back one night this week and he'll do the rides with you!"

I'm pretty sure the highlight of the fair to the boys was climbing on all of the tractors.

The wagon ride (pulled by a big tractor of course) was a close second.
Thats the best picture I could get from 2 feet away from them.

They thought their grandpa would like this fancy zero turn tractor:

We also walked around and looked at all the animals.  I'm not sure if we were supposed to "help" the goats eat their hay or not but we did..well, we sort of did. The boys were taking the hay out of the "hay thing" and dropping it on the goats backs...so the other goats could eat it more easily.
And yes, I let them do it.
