Here they are:
stuck to the side of the couch, "No sitting on the couch." (Jacob's rule)
obviously stuck to the switches, "No turning on the ceiling fan or lights." (Zach's rule)
stuck to a tall lamp, "No turning on the lamp." (Zach's rule)
stuck to the basement door, "Nobody's allowed in the basement." (Jacob's rule)
also stuck to the basement door, "Mom's not allowed to use the dryer." (Zach's rule)
Do you see how happy my face is in the picture? I asked him if I was allowed to use the washing machine and he said no. He told me it was right next to the dryer in the picture and thats why I couldn't see it. He forgot to draw the circle with the line through it (when I mentioned that he had forgotten it he took a marker over to it while it was on the wall, when I told him that he was not to draw on it while it was stuck to my wall he told me that I knew it meant no!!).
God bless that boy!
stuck to the wall in the living room by our steps, "No walking in the house." (Jacob's rule)
He forgot the circle and line also! The green marker was where he was going to start fixing it while it hung on the wall until I suggested he take it down. Apparently there's an unwritten rule about not taking the notes down to fix them and the mom should just know what it means!
This one was stuck to the vacuum, "No vacuuming." (Jake's rule)
God bless him too!!! These boys sure know the way to their momma's heart!
stuck to the recliner (this morning), "No Jacob's allowed in the recliner." (obviously Zach's rule)
"Do not turn the lamp on!" (Jacob's rule)
an afternoon rule, "Nobody's allowed to sit in the recliner!" (Jacob's rule)
So, out of these 10 rules, I only broke a few... I sat on the couch (after taking them to school so they didn't know it!)....I would've sat on the loveseat but there's laundry on it that I need to fold (and honestly, I'd be folding it now but I thought it was more important to share our new house rules with everyone. hahahahaha), I walked through the house, and I also vacuumed (with 2 dogs and 2 cats it needs to happen!). Somehow both of the lamps magically turned on, I won't take credit for that, same for one of the ceiling fans. :-) I told Daniel if he didn't have clean clothes it wasn't my fault because I certainly didn't want to break that rule nor did I want to break the basement rule by going down there.
They put one on the tv too that was for "No watching TV." (because I've become "that mom" that doesn't allow them to watch tv during the school week.) Before I could get a picture of it I got caught breaking the next rule........
There's one more rule...and it's by far my favorite. It was done by Jacob and yes, I broke it.
"No taking pictures."
Enough said.
