Punkin Patch 2012

After a fun time at a fall festival this morning (with some neighbors!) we took the kiddos to a pumpkin patch! Not one of the stinky ones that is a field with pumpkins scattered around but an actual pumpkin patch where you go out and the pumpkins are still on the vines! Check out our fun...

being silly while we were waiting for the hayride.

more sillies!

on the hayride!

This was the first pumpkin Jacob found and wanted...it was about 20 feet from where we got off the hayride. Of course I told him to keep looking!

Zach had to find one right away too!

Hunting for the perfect pumpkin!

How about this one, mom??

Or this one...

I want a green pumpkin!

This one is nice too!

Jacob found his perfect pumpkin!

Daniel helped him get it off the vine. See the orange basket? They're provided to help you carry your pumpkins while you're in the field. Keep reading.

Jake needed to help pick up the pumpkin.

and then place it in the basket.

Zach found this one and thought it was perfect. Notice the basket in the bottom right of the picture? It's pretty much full just from Jake's pumpkin.
Zach needed to help put it in the basket too.

Where's it gonna go, dad?

Daniel convinced Zach he needed to find a new one since the stem on the other was so short. Zach picked this one in Daniel's hand. It's actually the biggest of all the ones we got today!

Of course we needed a picture of my babies. Jake is so proud to hold Emily.

Yep, everyone looking at me at once is impossible!

See?

You had to know this was going to happen too!
