The video would've been longer except that I've apparently filled up the storage on my iPhone. I'll just need to delete some of the music I have on there I guess! :-)
I started cutting paths in the grass for them to drive the gator and tractor on.. then I just decided to cut it straight to keep from having too many goofy lines in it! They played so nicely together and took turns on everything. I think at one point they were both on the gator and must've been going to work. Well, one was chaufferring the other to work. They'd drive over to the garage, the "passenger" would get out and go into the garage for a bit then come out and wait for their ride "home." They kept switching places and doing this over and over and over again!
They both keep talking to baby Emily. A worker at Home Depot (when we were making our big bathroom purchases a few days ago) said something to Jacob about making sure he talks to her in my tummy a lot so she doesn't think he's a stranger....so now Jake is obsessed with talking to her even more and making sure she knows he's her big brother and not a stranger. I keep telling him she knows who he is and loves him already! Zach loves to give her kisses through my belly. They love taking turns putting their hands on my tummy and waiting to feel her kick. There's been times that I know for a fact she hasn't moved a tiny bit where they could feel her and they'll say "MOM!!!! She just kicked me!" I guess I should also note that they both have actually felt her kick too. :-) Zach told me today he was going to "hold her and cuddle her and rock her and snuggle her." He's so excited to be a big brother. I'm waiting for them to mention feeding her since I'm hoping to exclusively breastfeed. I'm curious if Zach will try to nurse the (one) babydoll that we have like I remember Jacob doing a few times when I would sit down to nurse Zach. I don't think Jacob remembers it at all...especially since he was only 2 then!
Zach had another whiffle t-ball practice last night and I did take a few pictures but they're on my camera (still); maybe tomorrow after Jacob's T-ball game I'll upload them!
I let the boys splash in a couple puddles yesterday after school....
I sure do love my camera!
Zach was upset this morning after we got home from taking Jacob to school...we came in the house, he took his tennis shoes and socks off so he could put his rainboots on and told me he was ready to go outside and play. I had no clue what he was wanting to play so we went outside and he walked right to the front yard by the road...he looked at me very upset and asked me what happened to his puddle! I told him not to worry...they're calling for more rain tonight and tomorrow! (and why did I bother having them put their rainboots on to stomp in the puddles?? They are still saturated on the insides with dirty puddle water. Crocs would've been a better choice!)
