Once a month we get together with 2 of our neighbor families (I know that sounds weird, the Longeways and the Rubinsteins). We rotate to a different house each month--October was our month but due to us being out of town and the Rubinsteins camping we never got around to doing it so tonight was the night!! Our menu was london broil, salad with homemade ranch, super-duper twice baked potatoes, crescent rolls, chocolate pie, and Grandma's Punch as we've come to call it (Daniel's grandma's recipe....except there always seems to be a bottle of rum next to it at our house!). We started out with homemade 7 layer dip and tortillas too. The kids had hot dogs and mac n cheese. Everything was delicious and I didn't take a single picture either.
We all enjoyed sharing a meal and catching up. :-)
I did happen to take a picture of Emily earlier in the day that I can put on here since I can't seem to have a post without a single picture on it!
